This WeekPrivacy policy

Last updated 9 September 2026 · applies to the This Week app and this site.

This Week is a to-do app. What you type into it is about your day, and the point of this page is to say exactly what is kept, where, who else touches it, and how you get rid of it. There is no advertising, no data broker, and nothing is sold.

Who is responsible

Oluş, a company in Türkiye. Every request on this page goes to the address under Contact at the end.

What is kept, and why

Weekly scores and the notifications the app decided to send youYour progress page and your notifications page.No

Error reportsTo find crashes. Quoted values are stripped before a report is stored. No

Nothing is read from your contacts, calendar, photos, location or microphone beyond the moment you dictate a task, and dictation happens on your device through the browser.

The assistant

When you use the assistant, the words you typed or dictated, together with your open tasks, your areas and your habits, are sent to Anthropic's Claude to be turned into tasks. This happens on our server, never from your device, and only when you ask. Anthropic processes that request under its commercial terms and does not use it to train models. Nothing about you is sent that the assistant does not need for that one reply. There is a daily cap on assistant calls per account.

Where it is stored

Everything is stored with Supabase, in its Singapore region (AWS ap-southeast-1), encrypted in transit and at rest. The app itself is served by Expo's hosting. Neither provider reads your data for its own purposes.

Your tasks for today are also cached on your own device, so the app works with no connection, along with anything you did while offline until it is sent. That cache is only on your device.

Who can see it

You. Every table is protected so that an account can only read and write its own rows; that rule is enforced by the database, not by the app. The people who run This Week can access the database to keep it running and to investigate a problem, and do not read tasks otherwise.

How long it is kept

Per-day tasks are kept for as long as your account exists, because the weekly score, the streak and the progress page are computed from them. You can delete past tasks yourself at any time from Settings → Delete todo history. Deleting a task deletes it; there is no copy.

Deleting your account

Write to the address under Contact from the email you signed in with and say “delete my account”. Everything above is deleted with it, including scores, notifications, events and error reports, within seven days. An in-app button for this is on the way.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything held about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by email. If you are in the EU or UK you have those rights under the GDPR; in Türkiye under KVKK. We answer within thirty days. Nothing about you is used for profiling or automated decisions with legal effect.

Cookies

None for tracking. The app keeps your sign-in session and your offline copy of today in your browser's own storage, which is what makes it an app rather than a page.

Children

This Week is not for children under 16 and does not knowingly keep an account for one. If one exists, tell us and it goes.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app says so once when you next open it.
